As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Porthole Players relies on tax-deductible contributions as well as production ticket sales to meet operating expenses. Our mission is to increase the social capital of the community through the love of theater. By donating, you play a crucial role in ensuring the community theatre experience is memorable for future generations.
A general donation to Porthole Players allows Officers and Board Members to allocate funds where most needed.
Contributions will underwrite two reduced price “Community Night” performances to the general public during each Porthole Players production.
This fund supports certified American Sign Language interpreters skilled at interpreting theatre to provide access to Deaf theatregoers during Porthole Players productions.
Gifts will support community workshop opportunities in order to raise community appreciation for the performing arts.
Donations will allow Porthole Players to obtain and renew Sensory Inclusive Certification, enabling us to assist audience members with Autism, Military Veterans with PTSD, and others with a variety of health issues including Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, Strokes.
$2,000 is awarded annually to eligible high school seniors residing in Lincoln County, Oregon, who are active in the performing arts.
