Porthole Players is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The City of Newport, the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, our members, and our volunteers keep our shows running. Ticket sales cover part of each production. Donations cover the rest.
A volunteer board leads Porthole Players. Five officers form the executive committee, joined by eight directors and one youth member. The board chooses each season, approves productions, and oversees our finances under our bylaws.
Lifetime Players have given years of service to Porthole Players on stage and off. We honor their work and their place in our history.
